Which materials are used for Noma Parkett?
- Polystyrene (PS)
- Polyethylene (PE)
- Polyethylene terephthalate (PET)

When is it advisable to use a product with an integrated vapour barrier?
When working on mineral substrates such as floor screed, asphalt or concrete.
Is it always necessary to lay a PE vapour barrier film?
It is not required when you are using a combination product of substrate and integrated vapour barrier film.
Even out small irregularities on the floor:
The general rule is: the thicker the substrate, the bigger the irregularities that can be evened out without building impact noise bridges. Noma Parkett Gold at a thickness of 1.6 mm can even out small irregularities of up to 1 mm. Bigger irregularities (up to 3 mm) can be evened out with our 5 mm Green Tiles (see also technical data).
What do I have to pay attention to when laying the products on top of a hot water floor heating system?
The overall thermal resistivity (upper layer + footfall insulation) should not be greater than 0.15 m˛ K / W, to guarantee that the functioning of the heating system is not affected.
Which upper layers are our products particularly suitable for?
Laminate and parquet.
What about the environment?
Our products are CFC-free and recyclable. Their heat insulation properties mean less heating and therefore lower CO2 emissions.
